the air we breathe

the oxygen we need to survive

is contaminated everyday with pollution.

harmful gases are leach into our atmosphere and cause irreversible damage to the ozone layer.

water vapour

carbon dioxide

methane

nitrous oxide

ozone

the depletion of our ozone layer, stops it from protecting our planet from harmful sun rays. if let through these rays will warm up the earth causing climate change.

there are plenty of way to avoid contributing to this. turn to renewable energy sources, such as solar or wind.

 water

71% of our planet is covered by water. oceans spreading as far as the eye can see. and housing over 1 million species. and so many more undiscovered.

yet everyday people disregard this place as someones home and use it as a waste disposal for items they've used for mere seconds.

every year around 12.7 million tonnes of plastic waste enters the ocean.

this plastic never degrades, in fact it just get small and small making it more easily unnoticed and consumed by marine life.

plastic consumption can either give a false sense of fullness leading to starvation and death or can be lodged inside their throat making them choke to death.

plastic debris can also entangle marine life, causing severe cuts or trap them in one spot, fishing net makes up 45% of plastic waste in the ocean, this will also lead to a long and painful death from starvation or infection.

the best way to avoid causing this damage is to say not to single use and pointless plastic, carry reusables instead. avoid buying fish from companies that use trawling and entanglement methods.
