this section is all about my d.i.y and renovation projects
all are done with sustainability being key
upcycling and repurposing old furniture
sourcing secondhand goods
reworking things i've found
embroidering and sewing textiles
and buying quality when needed
this not only helps the planet
by reusing what we already have
and not supporting the production of new
and unsustainable items
but also keeps the costs low
each project is handmade by me
with lots of nifty d.i.y's

We are in a crisis and cannot continue.
Think consciously about the impact your actions are having.
When doing a renovation the best way to save money and the planet is to find things secondhand and do most of it yourself. By recycling items already out in the world, we are not demanding brand new produce that is manufactured in highly polluting factories, produced in destructive way, using unrenewable and unsustainable material, transported from far and wide, and made by unfair unethical labour. It also keeps item from going to landfill or being burnt emitting fumes into the atmosphere. Secondhand shopping is also extremely fun as you can find quirky unique items that no one else will have and will look timeless in your space. Becoming a conversations started and making your space truly unique.
